Safety program design/audit
Meridian Safety can design a customized safety program for your workplace or audit your current program.
An audit gives you an effective way to evaluate your safety program as a comprehensive unit. Our risk management consultants provide a comprehensive and objective evaluation of the design and effectiveness of a safety program focusing on the following elements:

Safety training
Our training is provided in person, and some are offered remotely if preferred.
Classes can be led in English or Spanish.
- OSHA 10- & 30- Hour Training
- Competent person training (Fall protection, excavation, scaffolding, etc.)
- First aid, CPR, & AED certification
- ATSSA flagger certification
- Forklift certification
- Mobile elevated workplace platform training (Aerial boom lift, scissor lift)

- One- & Two-Hour safety classes (Hazard communication, electrical, ladder safety, etc.)
Site safety inspections
Most company safety directors, if on staff at all, are spread too thin to provide the inspection frequency that is necessary to ensure that a safety program is being properly implemented.
The best program available is ineffective if it is not enforced. Our consultants offer independent, thorough, well-documented, and appropriately frequent inspections.
Our inspection report format is very detailed and contains positive findings and issues identified. Issues identified shows the regulatory standard for further review and a severity rating that will impact the inspection’s overall numerical score.
Incident investigations
The prime objective of an incident investigation is to prevent future incidents.
Our consultants will travel to the worksite to obtain observations and witness statements. Upon completion, a detailed documented report is provided outlining the root cause of the incident and recommended hazard controls to prevent future incidents.
Furthermore, the documentation provided by this investigation could be invaluable for legal purposes.
